2012 "Spheres" Paintings
"The circle and the sphere as motifs for exploration have been incorporated in my artwork for many years. These iconic symbols along with their spiritual reference to unity, wholeness and oneness, in combination with my contemplation of the fragility of the sphere that we live on, inspired me to create this series."

The method for each painting is first created with a vinyl paste applied over a heavy watercolor paper. The surface is painted, then hand carved, incised and sanded with added layers of mixed mediums. All artworks are sealed with a protective finish and mounted on an archival board. Signed, titled and dated on the back.
